Star India’s latest survey gives a report on most searched actors on Top 5 south Indian actors. Vijay, Suriya, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Ajith are the Top 5 Most Searched South Actors on Google in 2014 (January & February).

1. Vijay (Tamilnadu, Kerala, Malaysia): Tamil people see him as the next No.1 who could take the place of Superstar Rajinikanth. He enjoys a great following (only next to Rajini) now. He was mostly in news recently for his Sankranthi release ‘Jilla’.

2. Surya (Tamilnadu, AP, Kerala): He has the ability to cross language barriers and win the hearts of all kinds of audience. The other reason is his much awaited film ‘Anjaan’ with Director Lingusamy and Samantha.

3. Pawan Kalyan (AP, Karnataka, Overseas): There needn’t be any specific reason for Pawan Kalyan to stay in news as his fans would never stop discussing or searching about him. The other aspects which helped him to stay in news is the India Today’s special edition on the actor and the walk-for-heart initiative.

4: Mahesh Babu (AP, Overseas, Karnataka): The Prince of Tollywood and his Sankranthi treat ’1 – Nenokkadine’ is most discussed topic in the recent past by movie lovers.
